Faithful Angel is aware of increasingly frequent phishing attempts by fraudsters trying to illegally obtain sensitive information from donors at the expense of people in need.

What is phishing?
Phishing is a method of attempting to fraudulently acquire sensitive information, such as passwords and credit card details, by masquerading as Faithful Angel in an electronic communication. Most methods of phishing use some form of technical information designed to form a link in an email. The bogus website that the link leads to may appear to belong to Faithful Angel.

Protection
Neither a well-configured firewall nor the best antivirus program alone will prevent phishing attacks. Act with caution and healthy suspicion! Here’s how to stay safe:

• Look out for sender’s email addresses: Be wary of email addresses that are similar to, but not the same as, a Faithful Angel email address. Fraudsters often use free email accounts with our name to deceive you.
